Thank you to everyone who has supported Olivia in acquiring her electric Koala wheelchair by Permobil in 2017. It has brought Olivia so much confidence and joy. Her face lights up whenever she uses it. Our next endeavour is to raise money for specially-designed equipment that will increase her quality of life. As Olivia cannot do many things herself, her father and I aspire to offer her as much independence as possible as she matures and accepts her body’s limitations. Sourcing the right equipment has been challenging, but we have thankfully found a strong team of Occupational Therapists to think ‘outside the box’ to find everything to meet Olivia needs.
