Difficult Road Ahead

Dear Friends,

Olivia is soon turning 10 years old. During these precious, though challenging years of her life, I have compiled a list of world-renowned doctors to support her ongoing medical needs, ie Neurosurgeons, Dentists, Orthopaedists and Geneticists. My goal as her 100% dedicated mother is to give her the best quality of life possible. Every single day.
Now we are at a crossroads because the doctors in Paris are suggesting an extremely risky surgery called an Osteosynthesis, which her dad and I know we do not want to pursue considering the weakness of her bones and the lack of mobility a rod will create in her back for the rest of her life. The other suggestion is to put her in a cast for 2 months then a Garchois corset on an ongoing basis. We are not convinced of either of these options. I am writing to you all to ask for your prayers as we embark on this difficult journey making life-altering decisions.
I am currently compiling opinions from doctors in Florida, New York, London, Paris as well as Switzerland and Finland to assess the best course of action.
I have re-opened Olivia’s GoFundMe page to help support us with costly doctor’s visits. We appreciate your support. Please CLICK HERE
Lots of Love,
Steph
